Joseph H. "Buddy" Greenwell, 81, of Morganfield, died at 5:20 p.m., Wednesday, April 28, 2004 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Hospital in Evansville, Ind.
Mr. Greenwell was a member of St. Ann Church and a World War II and Korean War Army veteran.
He was an electrical teacher in the Union County Vocational School and for 42 years he was an engineer at WMSK radio station in Morganfield. He was also employed at Sam's TV.
He was preceded in death by one daughter Margaret Regina "Margie" Greenwell in 1981.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years Edith; one son, Michael Harold Greenwell and wife Rebecca of Morganfield; one grandson Joseph Michael Greenwell and wife Nita of Elizabethtown, Ill.; one sister Mary Lois Hartig of Evansville; and one step-great-granddaughter, Katie Larson.
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 1 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Morganfield with burial in St. Agnes Cemetery in Uniontown.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Ann Church or to St. Ann School.
