Joyce "Darlene" Vanover, 61, of Smith Mills, died at 5 a.m. Tuesday, July 20, 2010, at her home.
She was employed at Sitex for more than 30 years and was of the Catholic faith.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Buckman; one brother, Gary Buckman; and one sister, Vicky Buckman.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Robert L. Vanover; one daughter, Amy Lynne Vanover of Smith Mills; one son, Timothy A. Vanover of Smith Mills; her mother, Virginia Buckman of Morganfield; three brothers, Kenny Buckman, Wayne Buckman and Ricky Buckman, all of Morganfield; four sisters, Paula Littlepage of Smith Mills, Diane Alvey of Morganfield, Debra Brown of Zion and Tammy Gray of Morganfield; two grandchildren, Steven Vanover and Dylan Hornback; nieces and nephews.
Services were held Friday, July 23 at Tapp Funeral Home in Henderson with Father Richard Cash officiating. Burial was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson.
