The Union County Elementary Wrestling League kicked off their matches at the Union County Middle School gym where 160 wrestlers from St. Ann, Uniontown, Morganfield and Sturgis Elementary schools competed in front of a packed gymnasium full of screaming fans.

The young athletes treated the crowd to some high flying and spectacular wrestling techniques that they have been shown by their coaches during the past two weeks of practice. The Union County Elementary Grapplers will be back on the mats this Sunday, March 21 at the UCMS gym. Action will begin at 2 p.m. Everyone is invited to come out and watch the future of Union County wrestling.
