Once the inspection is made by the state, construction will begin at Breckinridge Place, the nursing and assisted living facility managed by Eidetik and located at 170 Sykes Boulevard in Morganfield. Invested parties broke ground Monday at the site in honor of the beginning. “We are grateful to the County, Union County First, the City of Morganfield, and for the greenbacks from Old National Bank and United Community Banks. This wouldn’t be coming to pass without them,” said Mike Creasey, Breckinridge Services, Inc. board member. Glen Byars, contractor, says they will start with roads and parking areas before winter sets in and expect to be finished no later than October 1, 2009. Keep track of their progress, get pictures and updates from their construction blog at www.breckinridgeservices.org.
