Jim Thompson, 86, of Morganfield died Saturday, May 3, 2008 at Pinewood Nursing Center in Wigham, Ga.
He was a WWII veteran and was retired from the Kentucky State Highway Department.
He was preceded in death by a son, James Ray ‘Jim’ Thompson, and his parents, Clara and Burnia Thompson.
Survivors include his wife , Yvonia Thompson of Wigham, Ga.; a brother, Ray Thompson of Henderson; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Friday, May 9 at Odd Fellow Cemetery in Morganfield.
