Emergency service crews recognized

Wednesday, May 09, 2007

Methodist Hospital Union County staff, along with Union County emergency, rescue, and AirEvac teams, gathered on Monday afternoon to celebrate their collaborative efforts of community service. Pat Donahue recognized the emergency service employees and volunteers for their continued investments in the communities they serve. "Through paid staff, volunteers, and high school health students, the Methodist Hospital Family seeks to help the community. Everyone plays a role," explained Donahue. The AirEvac Lifeteam landed in front of the hospital after pursuing an emergency run. Team members allowed onlookers to view the inside of the aircraft.

Join MHUC on today, May 9th, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. for their continuing festivities. Health screenings, music, good food, and doorprizes will be had. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today, there will be an Old Fashioned Social in recognition of National Older Americans Month.
