Martin Bayley, proprietor of Huck's in Sturgis, has purchased the adjacent home and alley rights for an expansion. Employee Judy Heffington says there are "big plans ahead" for the store. The store itself will be moved atop the hill to allow room for a second set of pumps and more parking spaces for customers. She states that the Sturgis Huck's will be remodeled to look like the one in Madisonville. Like Madisonville, the Sturgis store will boast booths, wireless hi-fi Internet, and 12 gas pumps. "We'd like to put in a diesel pump too," says Heffington. "Our associates are very excited about all the changes." She expects that by this time next year we shall have the new and improved Huck's. "We have an awesome business," she explains. "And this great store would not be possible without this community and this town.
